Plank 91. Instructional Excellence: The educational system should focus on imparting essential academic knowledge, qualities of good citizenship, practical skills, and self-sufficiency. We support, without exception, requiring Texas public schools to be fully transparent with parents regarding everything to which their child is or will be exposed. Curriculum of Instructional Excellence shall include the following: (a) through (h)

Pre-qualify students who complete the election administration curriculum to serve as election clerks upon reaching age 16, as authorized under Texas Election Code § 32.051, with the goal of building the citizen volunteer workforce
