that Plank 225 be amended to read as follows: “ Texas Independence: We urge the Texas Legislature to pass a bill in its next session requiring a referendum in the next General Election for the people of Texas to determine whether or not the State of Texas should reassert its status as an independent nation” and,
that this amendment to Plank 225 underscores the ongoing commitment to recognizing the voice of the people of Texas in determining their political, cultural, and economic affiliations and future, and
