GEI 5 - Resolution to Audit Each Election
Be it Resolved,
that the following methodology be proposed and adopted by each Texas County following every election:
Each party may select up to 5% of the polling locations to audit, and
Each County will select an additional 5% of the polling locations to audit, and
A hand count audit of the scanners at the selected polling locations shall be performed for each contested race, and
The hand count results shall be compared with the physical tape and electronically
reported data, and
The results of said audits shall be made public, at a minimum, by publishing the data on
the County Elections website
